Not only does it use our proven patented IntelliVox® automatic squelch circuit,
but also includes our latest invention, the "Active Microphone Processor", better
known as AMP™. This new system actively reduces noise that is picked up by
the microphone, dynamically reducing the background noise heard in the headset
when the VOX is opened.
There has never been an intercom that provides as much intelligibility as the PM1200, PERIOD. This new intercom system will be able to tame the noise of cockpits such as the P-51, B-17, PV-2, T-6, T-28, and the Pitts S2B/C. We know because we have flown in all of these really noisy aircraft and know exactly what needed to be done! The PM1200 also provide ample headset volume, with audio amplifiers that will supply to the general aviation headset as much as 120 mW (almost twice that of our regular intercoms) in 28 volt aircraft. Additionally, by a push of the Copilot volume control, the system will convert to VOX to PTT-ICS. The unit can also be ordered in the Blind Mount configuration, allowing the owner to make the installation of this intercom completely in the confines of the original equipment of the aircraft. You can keep your aircraft authentic while still having the best intercom available. |
